Can I rename places? Can I move them around?
You can rename places. Tap the Edit button in the top left corner of the map screen, then choose the place you want to change. The chevron button that appears should be yellow instead of blue, indicating edit mode. Tap it to edit the place's name.
Moving places isn't supported yet—it wasn't possible to move a pin on a map until iOS 4. Now that Apple has made it possible, we're looking to add that feature.
Does World Tour work when I don't have Internet access?
Partially. World Tour can't look up new locations without an Internet connection, so you can't add new pins if you're disconnected. Existing pins will display fine, but you may have trouble seeing the map itself—it depends on which parts of the map happen to be saved on your device at the time. Writing notes, adding and deleting pictures, and renaming and deleting places can all be done without Internet access.
Can I import or export World Tour places?
Not yet, but we're looking into ways to change that!
Does World Tour work on the iPad?
World Tour works well in iPhone compatibility mode. We're looking into creating a full iPad port in the future.
